Job summary

JMJ Phillip Group seeks an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety, regulatory compliance, and sustainability initiatives in a Portage, Wisconsin manufacturing environment. You will set strategy, provide hands-on support, and drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes risk reduction, employee engagement, and collaboration with plant leadership to meet World Class Manufacturing standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing EHS experience.
• Proven ability to reduce injuries and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Experience with OSHA requirements and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve EHS and sustainability programs aligned with World Class Manufacturing principles.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS standards and ISO-based systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations and permits.
• Lead investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver effective EHS training and engage employees in safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with site leaders to drive continuous safety and sustainability improvements.
