Job summary
Danone West Jordan, Utah is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead safety, environmental compliance, occupational health, and security for a large-scale manufacturing site. You will report to the Senior Plant Director and partner with plant leadership to build a world-class safety culture.
You will own EHS strategy, drive continuous improvement, mentor EHS talent, and collaborate with corporate and site stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence at
Qualifications
- 7+ years of EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance programs.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action planning.
- Experience leading safety culture initiatives and employee engagement programs.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence all levels of an organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the site's overall EHS strategy and roadmap.
- Champion a proactive safety culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Influence plant-wide leadership decisions.
- Partner with corporate and site stakeholders to drive compliance and operational excellence.
- Develop and mentor EHS talent.
- Shape programs that protect employees, the community, and the environment.
