Job summary

Danone U.S. seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead all aspects of safety, environmental compliance, occupational health, and security for our West Jordan manufacturing facility in Utah.

This senior leadership role reports directly to the Senior Plant Director and partners with plant leadership to drive a world-class safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor EHS talent across the site.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance programs.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action planning.
• Experience leading safety culture initiatives and employee engagement programs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence all levels of an organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field is preferred.
• Experience supporting EPA compliance programs is a plus.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (food, beverage, pharma, chemicals, packaging) is beneficial.
• Certifications CSP, ASP, CIH, CHMM or related are preferred.

• Champion a proactive safety culture focused on continuous improvement.
• Influence plant-wide leadership decisions.
• Partner with corporate and site stakeholders to drive compliance and operational excellence.
• Develop and mentor EHS talent.
• Shape programs that protect employees, the community, and the environment.
