Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing with hands-on environmental compliance.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. environmental regulations including permitting, air emissions, waste, wastewater/stormwater, and reporting.
• Experience with OSHA requirements and manufacturing safety programs.
• Brownfield experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Environmental, Health & Safety programs for the Alabama manufacturing site.
• Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, ADEM, and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage environmental permits, regulatory reporting, inspections, recordkeeping, and compliance requirements related to air emissions, wastewater/stormwater, waste, chemical management, SPCC, EPCRA/Tier II, and TRI.
• Evaluate environmental and EHS requirements for painting/coating, injection molding, die casting, welding, and other processes, focusing on air permitting and VOC/HAP emissions.
• Support permitting and readiness for facility modifications, new equipment, commissioning, and production launches.
• Conduct EHS audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations; ensure CAPAs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, HR to integrate EHS into processes and changes.
• Serve as primary site EHS contact with regulators, consultants, and external parties; drive continuous improvement.
• Handle the property VCP and process permits.
