Job summary

Novolex seeks an experienced EHS professional to lead safety programs, compliance, and cultural change across a manufacturing facility in Indiana. You will drive, monitor, and continuously improve environmental health and safety initiatives, partnering with site leadership to ensure regulatory adherence and incident prevention.

The role requires 5+ years in EHS within manufacturing, a BS degree in a related field, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with strong organization skills and ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated experience in leading cultural change across a facility.
• Experience in leading continuous improvement programs in manufacturing environments.
• Excellent soft skills in communicating with all levels of the organization.
• Budget/cost management and strategic planning experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Advance initiatives promoting safety, health, security, and welfare of all personnel.
• Develop, deploy, and monitor EHS programs and standards for compliance.
• Provide leadership to tactical safety teams and risk assessment processes.
• Lead root cause analysis and communicate findings across the organization.
• Identify and eliminate high-risk occurrences through audits and observations.
• Foster a zero-incident mentality within the facility.
• Coordinate with HR on Workers' Compensation case management.
• Ensure accuracy of environmental reports and related metrics.
