Job summary

High Liner Foods USA is seeking a Training Specialist based in Portsmouth, NH, to coordinate and sustain site training programs for frontline teams. You will plan, deliver, document, and validate training to ensure food safety, quality, and operational reliability while working on the plant floor and in classroom settings.

Responsibilities include onboarding, program development with SMEs, LMS administration, and continuous improvement of training materials.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in HR, Adult Education, Business Admin, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Experience coordinating training, onboarding, workforce development or manufacturing support.
• Experience in food manufacturing or safety‑sensitive environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Confirm training requirements with subject matter experts and maintain training matrices.
• Coordinate onboarding for front‑line hourly employees and track milestones.
• Develop training programs with SMEs and manage access for external consultants.
• Validate training documents and maintain version control reflecting site practices.
• Administer the LMS and maintain employee training records and reports.
• Support SOPs, checklists, and certification criteria; identify training gaps.
