Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager in Thousand Oaks, CA to lead environmental compliance, sustainability programs, and site-level EHS initiatives. You will interpret complex regulations, develop plans and audits, and partner with R&D and Product Development as needed.

You will act as a single point of contact for EHS, conduct inspections, drive audit programs, and support emergency response.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent level of EH&S experience demonstrated.
• Experience interpreting environmental regulations and leading compliance efforts.
• Strong data analytics and reporting capabilities.
• Advanced skills in Excel and data management.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance and sustainability programs at the site.
• Interface with regulatory authorities and prepare analyses and reports.
• Conduct inspections, assess EHS risks, and manage incident investigations.
• Develop and deliver training; support emergency response activities.
