Job summary

Amgen’s Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) Manager role is based in Thousand Oaks, CA. You will partner across Manufacturing and Clinical Supply to drive strategic EHS initiatives, protect employees, and enable operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s with EHSS experience in cGMP manufacturing or related field.
• Bachelor’s with 4 years of EHSS experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
• Associate’s with 8 years of EHSS experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS programs across QA, QC, Manufacturing, Facilities and Engineering.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to implement risk management and CAPAs.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety performance and environmental stewardship.
• Conduct inspections, regulatory audits, and CAPA tracking to ensure compliance.
• Champion change management while evaluating safety and environmental impacts.
