Job summary

Congruex is seeking an EHS Manager in West Jordan, UT to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across operations. You will ensure regulatory compliance, drive a proactive safety culture, and coordinate training and incident investigations for field teams and contractors.

You will build safety programs, mentor staff, and report on metrics while traveling domestically as needed to support projects and client requirements.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in an EHS Manager or related safety leadership role.
• 2–3 years of experience delivering HSE training within the industrial construction industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of underground utility construction experience.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, OSHA 29 CFR 1926, EPA, DOT, and other applicable safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage comprehensive EHS programs to promote safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate EHS activities with customers and support all safety initiatives across operations.
• Promote a positive attitude and the Incident Free philosophy.
• Plan, direct, and conduct periodic HSE assessments of construction sites and offices.
• Develop, organize, and deliver annual and ongoing HSE training programs including Drug-Free Workplace, confined space, trench safety, OSHA 10/30, First Aid, CPR, and DOT compliance.
• Conduct HSE orientations to familiarize employees with project conditions and safe work practices
