This contract role focuses on OSHA/EPA compliance, risk reduction, incident investigations, training systems, and close collaboration with plant leadership to ensure audit readiness and continuous improvement, with potential conversion to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading EHS programs in manufacturing or regulated industry.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Hands-on with risk assessments, incident investigations, corrective actions, and audits.
• Experience supporting environmental programs (air, wastewater, chemical storage, spill prevention, waste management).

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety, security, health, and environmental programs.
• Develop practical EHS vision for plant workforce.
• Develop risk-assessment methods to reduce hazards.
• Create and maintain training systems for regulatory needs.
• Coordinate resources for safety and environmental initiatives.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA/EPA compliance programs.
• Manage environmental reporting and waste-minimization.
• Serve as primary site contact with regulators.
• Maintain the site security plan and audit-control program.
