Job summary

Lee Kum Kee is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs across the company. You will ensure OSHA/Cal-OSHA/EPA and local regulatory compliance, drive a proactive safety culture, manage environmental programs, and provide EHS support to local and out-of-state facilities.

The role includes managing hazardous waste programs, coordinating permits, conducting industrial hygiene studies, and supporting FDA

Qualifications

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive occupational health & safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain IIPP and ensure Cal-OSHA and OSHA alignment.
• Lead daily safety oversight and supervise PPE and equipment safeguards.
• Certify employees on forklifts, aerial lifts, fall protection, and confined space entry.
• Provide guidance to employees and leaders on safety initiatives and corrective actions.
• Serve as primary facility representative during safety inspections.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs across the site.
• Maintain regulatory compliance documentation and required programs (IIPP, permits).
• Lead daily safety oversight including PPE, safeguarding equipment, and safe work practices.
• Certify staff on forklift, aerial lift, fall protection, and confined space entry.
• Conduct training sessions and ensure competency-based EHS training framework.
• Lead incident investigations with root-cause analysis and timely corrective actions.
