OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced EHS Manager (Bilingual) to join our team in Woodridge, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring workplace safety and environmental health standards are met and maintained. Your expertise in EHS management and root cause analysis will be instrumental in fostering a culture of safety and compliance within our facility. If you are passionate about creating a safe work environment and can communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and manage EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Conduct regular workplace safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.Lead root cause analysis investigations for incidents and near misses, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS best practices and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.Maintain accurate records and reports related to EHS activities and compliance.Serve as the primary point of contact for EHS-related inquiries and communications, both internally and externally.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations and EHS management systems.Proven experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to engage and educate diverse teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) are a plus.You should be proficient in:Workplace Safety & EHS ManagementRoot Cause Analysis
