Job summary

Neon Aero is seeking a Manager of Environmental Health & Safety to develop, implement, and continuously improve programs that protect employees, contractors, visitors, the community, and the environment. This role leads site safety and environmental compliance and partners with leaders to build a proactive safety culture.

The position requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field and 5+ years of EHS experience, with knowledge of OSHA, EPA, hazardous waste, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
• Five or more years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or regulated operations.
• Experience with OSHA, EPA, hazardous materials, waste programs, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS program development, policies, procedures, standards, and training to keep people and sites safe.
• Own regulatory compliance across OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state agencies, including permits, inspections, and reporting.
• Lead hazard assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action planning to prevent injuries and environmental events.
• Build a culture of accountability and hazard reporting through training and cross-functional partnership.
• Turn EHS metrics and trend data into actionable recommendations to reduce risk and improve compliance.
