Job summary

Saint-Gobain Group, via CertainTeed, seeks an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager for our Seattle plant. You will lead health and safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive ISO systems within the World Class Manufacturing framework, collaborating with central teams and the plant manager.

The role emphasizes developing a proactive safety culture, delivering training, risk reduction, and SOPs, with emphasis on employee engagement and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Relations, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as Health & Safety Manager in a US union manufacturing environment.
• Strong safety leadership and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Health & Safety programs at the Seattle plant within World Class Manufacturing framework.
• Ensure corporative and provincial regulatory compliance and ISO systems.
• Develop autonomous H&S culture, promote health and wellness programs, and provide H&S training.
• Define H&S SOPs and risk identification/reduction methods with employee engagement.
