SLPT Automotive is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead site EHS programs, drive risk reduction, and sustain sustainability initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

You will partner with site leadership to translate regulatory requirements into practical programs, improve incident prevention, and embed risk management into daily work. This role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven improvements, and visible plant-floor engagement.

Competenze

• Eight or more years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS policies, procedures, records, and corrective-action systems.
• Experience supporting emergency preparedness, incident response, and security-related protocols.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence across organizational levels and drive improvement actions to completion.

Mansioni

• Lead site EHS policies, programs, procedures, and management systems.
• Administer ISO 14001-aligned processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams to embed EHS expectations into daily work.
• Promote hazard reporting, safe-work practices, and shared accountability for EHS performance.
• Advise leaders on EHS risks, corrective actions, and regulatory obligations.
• Monitor regulatory compliance with MIOSHA, OSHA, EPA, and local requirements.
• Coordinate audits, inspections, and information requests with agencies.
• Lead training on EHS requirements and emergency procedures.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and track corrective actions.
• Collect and report EHS performance data and identify improvement opportunities.
