Job summary

Slate Auto seeks an experienced EHS Manager, Plant Operations to develop and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs within our automotive manufacturing environment in the USA. You will ensure regulatory compliance, drive safety culture, and lead continuous improvement across operations.

The role includes incident investigations, training development, and collaboration with multiple departments to embed EHS considerations into all processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 12+ years of related EHS leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Lead risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver and coordinate EHS training for employees at all levels.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other standards.
• Drive continuous improvement using industry best practices and new technologies.
• Maintain accurate EHS records and reporting across operations.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and other departments to embed EHS into manufacturing processes.
• Oversee occupational health clinic operations and ensure high-quality care.
