Job summary

Acoust-A-Fiber, Inc. in Ohio seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead site safety, health, and environmental programs, directing efforts to meet corporate EHS objectives.

You will perform risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, state/local), conduct audits, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions while managing training, waste, and the plant safety program.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with emphasis in environmental, health and safety program management and employee training.
• ISO 14001 experience.
• ISO 45001 and Audit is a plus.
• College or Four (4) year degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manages and directs site in achieving EHS targets & objectives; supports corporate and division EHS initiatives.
• Facilitates risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects.
• Designs, develops, and implements safety and health programs and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Maintain EHS documents and records; timely submission to State and Federal agencies.
• Perform EHS audits, implement recommendations, and investigate incidents with corrective actions.
• Lead plant Safety Program and contribute to SQDCT for plant operations.
• Manage waste management and property protection controls including fire protection and business continuity planning.
• Lead cross-functional EHS teams and pursue professional certification.
