Job summary

NAES Corporation is seeking an EHS Supervisor to support the Quality Manager in implementing environmental, health, and safety programs for Plantersville operations. You will provide hands-on field oversight for equipment receipt, disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, testing, and contractor activities while promoting hazard recognition and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental science, industrial hygiene, engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Five years of progressive industrial EHS experience, including field oversight and safety initiatives.
• OSHA 30-hour training preferred; CSP/ASP/CHST/OHST or equivalent certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day EHS inspections, field observations, hazard assessments, and follow-up.
• Implement site EHS procedures, safe-work practices, and emergency plans.
• Assess hazards involving lifting, cranes, welding, power tools, and line-of-fire exposures.
• Oversee safe-work controls for blasting, chemicals, PPE, ventilation, and flammables.
• Support job safety analyses, permits, lockout/tagout, and stop-work decisions.
• Conduct site inspections and audits, document findings, verify corrective action.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; support root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate EHS onboarding, training, toolbox talks, and records.
• Maintain EHS records and support inspections, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with waste management, spill prevention/response, stormwater controls, and SDS access.
