Lindsay Corporation is seeking an on-site Site Environment, Health and Safety Leader at our Lindsay, NE facility. This role develops and coordinates environmental health and safety programs, ensuring compliance and best practices across production operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of safety management experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA).
• Lead and manage programs such as LOTO, Confined Space Entry, Hazard Communication, PPE, and Machine Guarding.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and JHAs.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training per regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for new hires and contractors.
• Monitor and report safety metrics to senior leadership.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all shifts and departments.
• Prepare for and manage emergency response; coordinate with external agencies as needed.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of safety equipment and PPE.
• Manage workers’ compensation cases and coordinate with HR/insurance.
