Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC in Milford, NJ, is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to lead the EHS program at the Milford facility. You will partner with frontline leaders and business partners to develop and mentor the production team in all EHS aspects.

You will provide strategic direction, manage permits and reports, and drive ownership and accountability for safe operations. This role offers growth opportunities within Georgia-Pacific and Koch companies.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in an EHS leadership role within manufacturing, industrial, or military environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with OSHA regulations, compliance standards, and training.
• Skilled in incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide transformational leadership to achieve the EHS vision with facility leadership.
• Prepare and manage environmental permits and EHS reports for regulatory compliance.
• Foster ownership of EHS decisions among employees.
• Develop risk assessment methods to identify and evaluate hazards.
• Ensure a change management process to adapt to evolving EHS standards.
• Partner with facility leadership to set EHS objectives and establish safety committees.
• Develop, improve, and implement training systems; conduct management reviews.
• Foster collaboration with employees, external stakeholders, and regulators.
