Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking an EHS Leader for our Whitesboro, NY location. You will oversee all EHS matters, ensure compliance with ISO 14001/45001, and drive improvements in safety and environmental performance.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage EHS programs, lead training, and coordinate certification activities while partnering with multiple sites to share best practices and improve safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and ability to address diverse audiences.
• Strong project management skills to plan and allocate resources.
• Problem solving using systematic approaches to issues.
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001 management systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office packages.
• NEBOSH National General Certificate; towards NEBOSH Diploma is preferred.
• AIEMA or working towards an environmental qualification.
• Proven track record in manufacturing or consultancy EH&S.
• Chartered member or working toward IOSH chartered status.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the EHS management system manual.
• Maintain compliance with local, NY and corporate EHS regulations.
• Monitor and improve EHS performance, reduce accidents and injuries.
• Lead and manage ISO 14001/45001 certification processes.
• Provide reporting on energy and water use and environmental performance.
• Develop and implement EHS training and fit-for-purpose processes.
• Share best practices across locations and drive continuous improvement.
