Job summary

Syntax Talent Solutions, LLC seeks a manufacturing-focused EHS leader to own the environmental, health and safety function at a growing facility. You will design scalable systems, partner with plant leadership, and drive safety culture across expanding operations.

You will manage risk, audits, training, and incident investigations while shaping reporting and metrics for informed decisions. This role emphasizes building a strong team and robust compliance as growth continues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional EHS certification (CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred.
• Experience building scalable EHS systems and programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site EHS activities with regulatory compliance and company standards.
• Design, implement and scale EHS policies, procedures, and programs for growth to ~500 employees.
• Develop EHS reporting, metrics, and dashboards for leadership visibility.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections; drive corrective actions.
• Establish robust incident management including root cause analysis and follow-up.
• Design and deliver EHS training for employees and supervisors.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and HR to integrate EHS into expansion and changes.
• Lead and mentor EHS staff as the function grows.
