Job summary

Stoughton Trailers is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety professional to develop, implement and maintain programs that minimize environmental liability across its manufacturing operations.

The role partners with plant management to ensure permits, training, audits, reporting, and continuous improvement in energy, sustainability and regulatory compliance at the federal, state and local levels.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of environmental regulations, concepts, and best practices.
• Knowledge and experience with NFPA and ANSI standards, ISO 14001.
• Experience with sustainability concepts and reporting.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain environmental programs to minimize liability.
• Audit plants to ensure compliance with corporate polices and regulations.
• Maintain records and prepare reports for regulatory agencies (permits, inspections, training).
• Identify training needs and deliver environmental training for employees and management.
• Develop energy and sustainability programs; track environmental metrics and communicate trends.
• Collaborate with plant management and engineering on regulatory requirements for processes and equipment.
