Job summary

Sustana is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for our De Pere, Wisconsin fiber mill. Lead environmental compliance, safety programs, and regulatory initiatives to strengthen safety culture and support operational excellence.

You will partner with plant leadership to ensure OSHA/EPA/Wisconsin DNR compliance, manage wastewater operations, and drive continuous improvement across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with wastewater treatment, environmental permits, and regulatory reporting (OSHA & Wisconsin DNR).

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance activities across federal, state, and local regs including Wisconsin DNR.
• Develop and implement site safety programs and regulatory training to support OSHA compliance.
• Track safety/environmental metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead investigations into injuries, near misses, and environmental incidents.
