Job summary

Texas State Technical College (TSTC) seeks an experienced EHS Program Manager to lead the organization’s environmental health and safety initiatives. This role ensures compliance with local, state, and federal standards and guides risk-based processes across multiple sites while aligning with institutional safety goals.

The successful candidate will develop and implement training, oversee incident investigations, and monitor regulatory updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental health and safety or related field.
• Eight years of progressive EHS experience.
• Experience managing EHS programs for multi-site organizations.
• 2-3 years administrative or operational experience.
• 2-3 years staff management experience.
• Experience developing and managing budgets.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS program development and regulatory compliance across the organization.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate environmental and safety risks.
• Review incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies.
• Design and deliver training on environmental policies and safety standards.
• Collaborate with department leaders to integrate EHS into workflows.
• Prepare compliance reports and support audits.
• Oversee documentation and reporting.
