Job summary

The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Lead at Council of Industry will drive and sustain EHS programs across our rubber manufacturing facilities. You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HR and site leadership to promote a safe workplace, ensure regulatory compliance, and push continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Travel up to 60% to New York, Connecticut, Ohio, and Texas is required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910).
• Experience with risk assessments, inspections, and EHS training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage EHS programs across multiple facilities.
• Promote a safe work environment and coordinate with operations leadership.
• Conduct and support incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
