Job summary

Interacid North America, Inc. seeks an EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance programs across operations and expansion projects. The role requires expertise in process safety, permitting, and fostering a strong safety culture across sites in Florida and beyond.

Hybrid work with in-office days, travel to project sites, and supervision of 1-2 staff. Ideal candidates hold a related bachelor's degree and 7–10+ years of EHS experience in chemical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of EHS experience in chemical manufacturing, petrochemical, or hazardous materials environment.
• Experience with environmental permitting for capital projects or plant expansions.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry & Construction, EPA regulations, state DEP regulations, and PSM.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement EHS programs across multiple sites and projects.
• Develop strategies aligned with regulatory requirements and safety culture.
• Manage environmental permitting for operations and expansions.
• Ensure OSHA PSM compliance and participate in PHA, MOC, PSSR.
• Identify risks, implement mitigations, and lead incident investigations.
• Develop training programs and maintain EHS documentation.
• Track EHS KPIs and report to leadership.
• Supervise 1–2 direct reports.
