Job summary

Motor Wheel in Chattanooga, Tennessee is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Representative to coordinate and execute safety and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations while supporting the ISO 14001 EMS.

You will partner with plant leadership to train supervisors, lead safety initiatives, maintain environmental records, and drive continual improvement across the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of safety leadership experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Safety Management, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
• Experience with ISO 14001 EMS preferred and knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OSHA/state safety compliance across the facility.
• Develop and continuously improve safety and environmental programs.
• Lead plant safety committee activities and training initiatives.
• Coordinate environmental audits and address corrective actions.
• Maintain safety and environmental records and documentation.
• Partner with leadership to promote environmental responsibility and continuous improvement.
• Provide training on safety and environmental topics to supervisors and staff.
