The role supports Environment, Health & Safety initiatives across network deployment, managed services, and corporate operations, including data dashboards and regulatory compliance. No prior EHS experience is required; the intern will develop skills in safety audits, incident investigations, and environmental initiatives while contributing to ESG reporting and digital content

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an associate, bachelor’s, or graduate degree program in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus.
• Familiarity with web content management systems (SharePoint) or basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Curious about AI and open to AI-assisted tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing Ericsson’s global EHS management systems and North America compliance programs.
• Support safety audits and inspections for telecom infrastructure projects.
• Help monitor contractor and field technician safety performance, including PPE compliance.
• Analyze EHS data and prepare dashboards and reports.
• Participate in incident investigations and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Assists with environmental initiatives such as waste management and sustainability reporting.
• Develop and update EHS communications, training materials, and toolbox talks.
• Support documentation and compliance with OSHA and local requirements.
• Assist in updating internal websites (SharePoint) with EHS content.
• Collaborate to publish digital resources such as training pages and dashboards.
