Job summary

Solventum in Brookings, South Dakota is offering an Environmental Health and Safety Intern position. You’ll support coordination and execution of EHS compliance initiatives during a 10-12 week assignment, with a cap of 899 hours per service year.

As an EHS Intern, you’ll work across MOC, ergonomics, powered industrial vehicles, process safety, fall protection, LOTO, machine guarding and emergency response coordination, helping develop the annual EHS plan and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• EHS coursework and internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination and execution of EHS compliance initiatives.
• Assist documentation on plant systems to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and EHS programs.
• Lead EHS projects and deliver required training to plant personnel.
• Participate in site processes to ensure compliance and continuous improvement of the EHS program.
• Assist in design and installation of new or modified equipment.
