Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO-based management systems.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and Ohio BWC requirements.
• OSHA 10 and/or 30 certification preferred.
• Experience conducting audits, investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication, project management, leadership, and training skills.
• HR experience in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, payroll, or employee engagement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs across the facility.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and corrective action initiatives.
• Manage environmental and waste management programs and support sustainability efforts.
• Develop and deliver employee safety training and promote a culture of safety.
• Serve as the primary contact for regulatory inspections and external audits.
• Partner with leadership on continuous improvement and EHS strategic initiatives.
• Support Human Resources activities including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, training, and other HR initiatives as needed.
