Job summary

Knight Material Technologies is seeking an EHS Field Coordinator at their East Canton, OH location. You will support compliance with federal, state, local, client, and company EHS requirements while helping build a strong safety culture across operations, projects, and field personnel.

The role requires a proactive communicator with field presence and the ability to integrate safety into planning, fabrication, and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree is not required if you have 5+ years of relevant field experience.
• Proven ability to read and interpret environmental, health, and safety regulations and apply them in field settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for training, onboarding, and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive safety culture by mentoring employees at all levels.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, client, and company EHS requirements.
• Guide supervisors and staff on regulatory expectations and company policies.
• Develop and maintain EHS programs, records, and inspection schedules.
• Communicate safety findings and trends to management with actionable recommendations.
• Exercise stop-work authority when immediate risks are identified.
• Support onboarding and training, ensuring regulatory requirements are current.
