Job summary

RTX is offering an internship/co-op on-site in Manchester, IA, where you will collaborate with Facilities and Manufacturing Engineers and shop staff to resolve site issues and implement efficiency improvements. You will help plan layouts and support safety and sustainability projects, gaining hands-on experience with aerospace electronics manufacturing processes.

The role targets students pursuing an Industrial, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering degree, with at least 60 credits completed

Qualifications

Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree through the co-op session.
Completed a minimum of 60 credit hours prior to the start of the internship/co-op session.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Facilities and Manufacturing Engineers, production floor operators, and support staff to address and resolve site-related issues.
Implement continuous improvement projects and initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Identify and develop creative solutions to address and improve site safety concerns.
Assist with shop floor layouts and help maintain systems to ensure the facility is prepared for production, including planning for new machinery installations or relocations.
Support projects aimed at achieving site safety and sustainability goals.
