Job summary

Howmet Aerospace has an immediate opening for an EHS Engineer at our Wichita Falls facility. This role supports the location’s EHS team with incident analysis, program execution, and regulatory compliance to drive safe, compliant operations.

The candidate will lead fatality prevention efforts, assist with IH and radiation protection, and coach leaders across departments to meet EHS objectives in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required as stated.
• At least 1 year of environmental, health or safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• This position involves access to export-controlled items with program eligibility conditioned on lawful access.

Responsibilities

• Assist with location fatality prevention efforts and coach leaders.
• Analyze injury and incident data and support focused injury reduction efforts.
• Assist with IH program execution, databases, and exposure records; act as radiation protection resource.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and provide corrective recommendations.
• Coach departmental leaders in EHS accountabilities and execution.
• Partner with site leadership to meet EHS objectives.
• Lead and assist with additional EHS accountabilities.
