Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a seasoned EH&S leader to manage government and corporate safety requirements. The role focuses on OSHA/EPA compliance, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement across facilities.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 5+ years in manufacturing engineering with supervisory experience, and preference for lean experience and HVAC/thermodynamics knowledge. Excellent leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial technology required.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing with 1 year in a leadership role.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• HVAC or thermodynamics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and internal EH&S policies.
• Stay abreast of regulatory developments and implement compliance programs.
• Lead and guide management to improve EH&S performance and objectives.
• Communicate EH&S issues effectively across the organization.
• Promote a Behavior-Based Safety culture to eliminate risks.
• Provide environmental expertise aligned with manufacturing processes.
• Apply technology to control air and water pollution as needed.
• Collect and analyze EH&S metrics to drive improvements.
• Coordinate EH&S training and audits at multiple facilities.
• Develop and administer EH&S training plans.
