Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Co. is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Technician for our plant in Lexington, Virginia. You will work with EHS and Plant Leadership to ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance, conduct investigations, audits, and implement safety protocols.

The role involves developing training programs, assisting in incident investigations, and maintaining regulatory records while promoting 5S and safety initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing safety required.
• Knowledge of chemical safety and EH&S regulations.
• Strong understanding of engineering practices as they relate to safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits in line with established EHS standards and regulations.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze environmental and safety data for monthly reporting.
• Assist in the development and implementation of EHS training programs.
• Assist in injury and incident investigations.
• Maintain records of all EHS related incidents and present statistical analysis to management.
• Promote 5S principles throughout the facility and coordinates for compliance.
