Job summary

Saint-Gobain Tape Solutions is seeking an EHS Engineer for our Hoosick Falls, NY manufacturing site. The role focuses on leading environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement.

You will partner with site leadership to manage EMS, training, investigations, and improvement projects, while maintaining strong relationships with NY regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of environmental compliance and reporting experience in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and updates facility health, safety, and environmental programs and records.
• Maintains EMS compliance per ISO 14001 with the site Management Representative.
• Manages Hazardous Waste and Universal Waste programs per regulations.
• Organizes and executes training on health, safety, and environmental protocols.
• Interprets environmental regulations to leadership and employees.
• Leads incident investigations and implements corrective actions across the site.
• Prepares permits, reports, and regulatory submissions (R, Tier II, Title V, etc.).
• Coordinates health, safety, and environmental projects with other functions to reduce risk.
