Job summary

Saint-Gobain Tape Solutions is seeking an EHS Engineer to lead compliance programs, drive continuous improvement, and foster a proactive safety culture across the site in New York. You will partner with employees at all levels to ensure regulatory compliance and protect people, community, and environment.

Responsibilities include managing EMS ISO 14001, hazardous waste programs, training, investigations, and extensive reporting such as Form R, Tier II, Title V, and OSHA logs, with a strong focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of environmental compliance and reporting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to train and influence employees at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and updates facility health, safety, and environmental programs, procedures, records, and documents.
• Maintains ISO 14001 EMS compliance and serves as the Management Representative.
• Manages Hazardous Waste and Universal Waste programs per regulations.
• Organizes and executes training on health, safety, and environmental protocols.
• Leads incident investigations and corrective action plans; strengthens root cause analysis.
• Prepares permits and regulatory reports (Form R, Tier II, Title V, etc.).
