Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering, supply chain and manufacturing innovator, seeks an EHS Engineer to administer workers’ compensation and injury case management. You will oversee post-injury follow-ups, return-to-work coordination, and incident investigations to minimize risk and support safety objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, HR, Nursing, Healthcare Admin, Risk Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Administer and track workers' compensation claims from injury report to closure.
• Primary point of contact for employees, supervisors, HR, insurers, medical providers, and TPAs on active claims.
• Ensure timely reporting of injuries and illnesses per procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor claim status, medical plans, work restrictions, and return-to-work timelines.
• Review claim trends and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve outcomes.
• Maintain confidential workers' compensation records and documentation.
• Conduct post-injury follow-up to ensure proper care and support.
• Coordinate return-to-work and transitional duty programs with stakeholders.
• Track lost workdays and injury management metrics.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Suggest corrective actions and work with teams to implement them.
• Support OSHA recordkeeping and reporting; assist audits as needed.
• Assist in hazard assessments and safety communications.
