Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Sr. Environmental Health & Safety Engineer II Assistant Manager to lead, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will drive regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and a strong safety culture aligned with corporate standards and business objectives. The role focuses on program leadership, audits, risk management, and integration of EHS into production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety or engineering field.
• 5–7 years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM preferred.
• Experience with ISO 14001/45001, OSHA and EPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of EHS programs across manufacturing operations.
• Oversee regulatory audits, permits, and reporting with compliance focus.
• Perform risk assessments, JHAs, and root-cause investigations; implement corrective actions.
• Integrate EHS into production processes and support new site launches.
• Manage environmental programs including waste, air emissions, and water compliance.
• Deliver EHS training and promote a proactive safety culture.
