Job summary

Lam Research in Tualatin, Oregon seeks an experienced EHS Engineer to develop, implement, and monitor safety programs. You’ll ensure OSHA/EPA/SEMI compliance, conduct inspections, and oversee manufacturing, logistics, and lab processes. The role covers life safety, ergonomics, incident investigations, and training.

You will partner with managers and teams globally to embed safety culture, perform JHAs, and support emergency response while advancing Lam’s environmental commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental, safety, ergonomics, science, or an engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS-related role.
• Existing understanding of OSHA regulatory and industry safety standards.
• Highly competent with Microsoft Office products (Excel, SharePoint).
• Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute EHS programs at Lam Research's Tualatin campus.
• Develop and implement EHS standards and participate in design reviews.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct risk assessments, JHAs, and pollution control reviews.
• Monitor industrial hygiene factors (noise, lighting, radiation).
• Support emergency response planning and training sessions.
• Collaborate across global teams to sustain EHS programs.
• Coach safety practices and ergonomics during manufacturing and lab activities.
