Job summary
Divergent is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer II to support environmental, health, and safety programs across our advanced manufacturing operations. You will partner with manufacturing, facilities, engineering, and operations to ensure compliance with regulations while driving a proactive safety culture.
The role covers incident investigations, training delivery, MOC processes, documentation, and continuous improvement of EHS management systems in a fast-paced production
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, Public Health, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or related environments.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, hazardous waste, air quality, wastewater, and chemical safety regulations.
- Experience supporting EHS compliance programs, inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation and execution of site EHS programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA and related regulations.
- Assist with management of hazardous waste, wastewater, stormwater, air permitting, and chemical compliance programs.
- Conduct routine EHS inspections, audits, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses.
