Job summary

Dynamet Incorporated, based in Clearwater, Florida, is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist II to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting a safe workplace. This role is ideal for an early-career EHS professional looking to grow their expertise in a dynamic industrial environment.

The role covers inspections, incident investigations, safety training, recordkeeping, and environmental reporting; requires 3–5 years

Qualifications

• 8 years of safety or manufacturing experience with a High School Diploma.
• 3–5 years of safety or manufacturing experience with an Associate degree; 4-year degree preferred.
• CSP or CIH certifications preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks; develop and implement policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health and safety inspections and audits per OSHA and company standards.
• Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Support safety training programs including onboarding and PPE usage.
• Maintain records of safety incidents, training, and compliance activities.
• Monitor environmental metrics including waste, emissions, and water usage.
• Assist with environmental permitting and regulatory submissions (EPA, state agencies).
• Support hazardous waste management and chemical inventory tracking.
• Participate in sustainability initiatives and cross-functional EHS projects.
• Maintain and update EHS documentation and management systems.
• Stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practices.
