Job summary

Marvin Composites in Fargo, ND is seeking an EHS Engineer to ensure environmental compliance and a safe workplace across operations. You will partner with maintenance, engineering, and EHS teams to implement environmental improvements and meet regulatory standards.

This role offers growth opportunities and hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting. You will lead permitting, reporting, and emergency management efforts, with emphasis on regulatory compliance, air quality, and waste

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
• Strong communication with internal and external partners.
• Complete and maintain required certifications and training (HAZWOPER, RCRA/DOT, OSHA)

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance efforts including permitting activities and interpreting regulatory requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data for regulatory submissions and decision-making.
• Drive environmental improvement initiatives by identifying risks and implementing process changes.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and EHS to integrate environmental considerations into decisions.
• Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, chemical handling, and spill-prevention programs.
• Manage audits, inspections, fire protection systems, and emergency response programs.
