Job Overview

Marvin Composites is hiring an EHS Engineer at our Fargo, ND location. As an EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Engineer, you'll help ensure we meet our environmental commitments while supporting a safe workplace for the people who make our products every day. Your work will influence how we manage compliance requirements, navigate complex regulations, and continuously improve our operations, creating a lasting impact on our people, our facility, and the environment.

This role offers the opportunity to become a trusted environmental resource for the facility, partnering with teams across operations, maintenance, engineering, and EHS to solve challenges and drive meaningful improvements. Your work will span several key areas, including environmental compliance, air quality and permitting, regulatory reporting, environmental stewardship, and emergency management. Whether you're early in your career or bringing previous environmental experience, you'll have opportunities to learn, grow, and make a tangible difference.

Highlights of your role
  • Lead environmental compliance efforts by supporting permitting activities, interpreting regulatory requirements, and helping ensure our facility meets federal, state, local and company standards
  • Manage environmental reporting by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data used for regulatory submissions, compliance documentation, and decision-making
  • Drive environmental improvement initiatives by identifying risks, evaluating solutions, and implementing process changes that strengthen environmental performance across the facility
  • Partner with teams across operations, maintenance, engineering, and EHS to solve problems, support projects, and integrate environmental considerations into operational decisions
  • Oversee environmental stewardship programs, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, chemical handling practices, and spill prevention efforts
  • Manage audits, inspections, fire protection systems, and emergency response programs that help maintain compliance, reduce risk, and support operational readiness

  • Interpret regulations, analyze data, and communicate findings to support reporting, compliance, and decision-making
Also want to make sure you have
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple or shifting priorities
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across teams and communicate effectively with internal and external partners
  • Complete and maintain required certifications and training, including HAZWOPER, RCRA/DOT, OSHA, and annual refreshers courses
