Job summary

Nidec, a global leader in motor制造 and power solutions, seeks an experienced EHS leader to oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across Power Americas manufacturing locations. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain divisional EHS policies, programs, standards, and procedures across all Power Americas manufacturing locations.
• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to all site EHS teams.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations across multiple state sites.
• Lead environmental compliance activities including permitting, reporting, waste, air emissions, wastewater, and chemical management.
• Establish divisional EHS objectives with leading and lagging metrics and management review processes.
• Develop strategies to reduce workplace injuries, environmental incidents, and regulatory risk.
• Lead investigations of significant incidents and regulatory matters to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Coordinate EHS audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate and implement timely updates.
• Partner with all functions to integrate EHS requirements into business processes and decisions.
• Oversee workers compensation, return-to-work programs, and injury case management.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, crisis response, and business continuity activities related to EHS risks.
• Develop and manage divisional EHS budgets.
