Qualifications

• Safeland instructor status is required to obtain certification.
• Bilingual skills strongly preferred to communicate with diverse staff.
• 0–2 years related working experience is required.
• Ability to work independently, set priorities and handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers training programs educating staff on environmental, health and safety topics.
• Ensures training records, manuals, incident/accident reports and related docs are maintained.
• Purchases and distributes PPE and related supplies.
• Monitors hazards such as noise, air and wastewater pollution levels.
• Coordinates facility, vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Assists in developing and communicating facility emergency response or evacuation plans.
