Job summary

Transco Rail Services is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator (EHS) to protect employees and the environment at the Sheldon Repair Shop. You will enforce OSHA policies, conduct inspections, and manage accident reporting while coordinating with vendors and maintaining regulatory documentation.

The role requires knowledge of AAR/FRA rules and HM201, with at least 3 years in production safety. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in production management; railcar repair experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and ability to learn proprietary databases.
• Knowledge of AAR and FRA rules; HM201 and other regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Enforce OSHA and company safety policies at the Sheldon Repair Shop.
• Lead safety inspections, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Maintain accident records and assist safety training materials.
• Coordinate with vendors, ensure proper documentation, and schedule pickups.
• Update environmental records and visual management tools (Safety/Quality/5S).
