Job summary

Transco Rail Services, a Marmon Holdings company backed by Berkshire Hathaway, seeks a Senior Director, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to lead enterprise-wide EHS strategy across a growing network of rail service operations throughout North America.

The role reports to the SVP of Operations and focuses on environmental stewardship, regulatory excellence, operational safety, risk management, and building world-class EHS systems and leadership across multiple facilities and field operations.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of environmental compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record leading EHS across multi-site operations.
• Experience influencing senior leadership and driving enterprise-wide changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide EHS strategy across North America.
• Develop and implement EHS management systems and governance.
• Oversee regulatory compliance programs and audits; manage risk.
• Drive safety culture, accountability, and operational discipline.
• Mentor and develop EHS leaders across multiple locations.
