Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions in Greencastle, PA is seeking an EHS Coordinator to support environmental health and safety initiatives across Greencastle and Waynesboro locations. You will assist with incident investigations, training programs, data tracking, and regulatory reporting.

You will help maintain EHS training records, manage performance metrics, and coordinate safety programs while ensuring OSHA 300 logging and regulatory compliance. Valid OSHA 30 and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; degree in business admin or related field preferred.
• 2 years EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• OSHA 30 hour general industry training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate compliance and maintenance of the environmental, safety and health management system (AEMS).
• Assist the EHS Manager with maintaining EHS training records.
• Assist with maintenance and coordination of the facilities’ EHS performance metrics, support the preparation of reports to ensure that performance data is communicated to all applicable parties, internal and external.
• Assist the EHS Manager with facilitating EHS training for all employees, and responsible for tracking the training, and maintaining the necessary training database and programs
• Monitor and maintain employee’s eligibility for Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses and Uniforms and complete necessary authorization/order forms.
• Assist the EHS Manager with the completion of incident investigations, root cause analyses, 5Y, developing corrective/preventive action plans and maintaining records of closure of corrective actions; assist with maintaining the site’s OSHA 300 Log.
• Assist with the preparation of job safety analysis’s, work instructions, risk assessments, or safety operating procedures,
• Assist EHS Manager with maintaining exposure databases, creating sampling reports and action plans as directed.
• Assist EHS Manager with the preparation of environmental reports and maintaining permits as per state and federal regulations.
• Stay updated with environmental trends and legislation.
